A Different Look of Life An Image Poem by Alyssandra Edwards
Some struggle from day to day,
Trying to see the colours of life.
But they get frustrated every time,
They can’t see those simple lights.
They depend so much of their other senses,
To make up for their loss of vision.
So they use their sense of touch,
To feel what they cannot see.
They use their sense of smell,
To breathe in all the aroma.
They use their sense of taste,
To taste the different flavours.
They later realized and come to know,
That you don’t really need,
The sense of sight,
To accomplish most things in life.
Trying to see the colours of life.
But they get frustrated every time,
They can’t see those simple lights.
They depend so much of their other senses,
To make up for their loss of vision.
So they use their sense of touch,
To feel what they cannot see.
They use their sense of smell,
To breathe in all the aroma.
They use their sense of taste,
To taste the different flavours.
They later realized and come to know,
That you don’t really need,
The sense of sight,
To accomplish most things in life.
